MODULE 1: DREAMING
Module 1 is called the DREAMING stage. It’s all about working out exactly what you want. This is where we’re going to help you get clear about what your dream home looks and feels like. What story do you want to tell? How do you want to live? We’ll tell you where to go for inspo and how to avoid ‘Pinterest-overload’.
We’ll help you choose a style that you love and articulate that by creating your very own vision board. It’s going to be unique to you and unique to your home.
And if you’re looking for a shortcut – you can totally steal one of the styles that we’ve already curated for you.
By the end of Module 1, you will have: A vision board for your home and every room in the house.

MODULE 2: LEARNING
Module 2 is the LEARNING stage – soaking up the theory behind great design and styling. It includes some basic rules and guidelines for you to follow – these are called the Elements and Principles of Design.
You’ll learn how to use pattern, texture and shape to create balance. You’ll learn how to use the colour wheel so you can choose colour combos like a pro.
This theory will help you pull together a great-looking room. It adds some science and structure to what is otherwise a creative process.
By the end of Module 2, you will know: how to make great styling decisions using expert rules of design.

MODULE 3: DOING
This is the ACTION phase of the course where you take everything you’ve learnt and start applying it to your own project.
We give you an easy 10-Step Process to follow on how to style your home – including how to create a furniture plan so that you you can be sure all your styling choices are going to work together, before you spend a cent.
We teach you how to choose the right couch, cushions, rugs, lighting, artwork and homewares. We encourage you to recycle and upcycle your heart out. And for anything you need to buy, we’ll show you how to find what you’re looking for, at the right price.
By the end of Module 3, you will have: Room layouts and furniture plans for the spaces you want to style… and a practical process you can to follow to make it happen.

MODULE 4: MASTERING
This is where we help you refine what you’ve already learned by sharing our in-depth room-by-room styling secrets. You’ll learn how many cushions you need on a bed, how to style a coffee table and an easy formula for making any sideboard look stunning.
We give you a real styling demonstration in every room of the house – including an alfresco space. This is the final piece of the puzzle to take your styling skills to the next level.
By the end of Module 4, you will have: Confidence and know-how to unleash your inner styling rock star and style YOUR home, YOUR way!

It’s also perfect for those with a rental portfolio, Airbnb, or hotel. And if you’re flipping a property or styling to sell, it’s just the course for you, too!
Who is Three Birds Styling School Suitable for?
The online course is set out over four weeks. Every Monday afternoon (AEST) we’ll email you a new module to work through that week. The other students from your intake will be working through the same materials at the same time, so you can share and ask questions as you go via our exclusive Facebook community. However, you can absolutely take the course at your own pace! Catch up when it suits you, or even repeat the course as often as you like – you’ll have lifetime access, including all of our course updates as we release them.
How long is it and can I do it at my own pace?
Sure is! BUT, all the Pinterest boards in the world won’t guide you through styling your home – both inside and out – as easily and thoroughly as Three Birds Styling School. This is an online design course like no other on the market – catering to everyone from experienced stylists, designers, and builders, to Mums who have never picked out a paint sample before.
Isn't there already a lot of styling inspo and advice online?
Yes. The course is jam-packed with over 30 exclusive video lessons, so you’ll need to have a decent internet connection to view the content. You can also download the course content to your smartphone, tablet, or computer so that you always have access to the fantastic lookbooks and templates.
Is Styling School 100% Online?
The course is video-led with over 30 exclusive video lessons for you to enjoy. You’ll also be able to download gorgeous PDFs, questionnaires, tools and templates to help with your styling journey. You can open the files on your smartphone, computer, or tablet. We highly recommend that you have a Facebook account to access our Styling School community of students working on projects together. It’s a buzzing hive of information and we don’t want you to miss out.

By the way, you won’t need any 3D drawing programs or other technical skills. We like to keep it simple, baby!
Do I need any specific type of device or programs?
That’s completely fine, you can move through the course at your own pace. You have lifetime access so the content will always be available for you to download.
What if I sign up to Three Birds Styling School and then can't make the start date?
It’s a private Facebook group for current students and graduates. The Three Birds – Bonnie, Erin, and Lana – and their team are also part of the group. Everyone helps each other with their individual styling projects. It’s a great way to get feedback on your plans and helpful advice just when you need it. You can post photos, ask questions, and get help almost instantly.
Students from our Reno School course tell us that the Facebook group is one of their most loved aspects of the program. We think it’ll be the same for Styling School.
What is the Three Birds Styling School Community?
Lifetime access is just as it sounds – you can retake the course as many times as you’d like for free and be part of the Styling School community for as long as the course is in existence. You’ll even get updates to the course when they’re released.

No, this isn’t an accredited course and there’s no need for added pressure. You’ll get an excellent quality, step by step, practical course that gives you all the appropriate tools and knowledge without needing assessment.
Are there any tests or assessments?

In case you don’t know us, we’re three besties + busy mums on a mission
to inspire and empower women all over the world to make their dream homes a reality.
We’ve been best friends for two decades and we’ve been through many of life’s major milestones (and botches!) together. From being single birds to married ones, bearing nine beautiful kids between us,
and supporting each other through busy corporate careers.
Like many mums, there came a point where we were after a more fulfilling life – one where we called the shots
and our work was flexible around our busy families. So we ditched our corporate careers to pursue a business combining our love of home and style. And so, in 2014, Three Birds Renovations took flight.
Since then, we’ve helped transform over 10,000 properties through our Reno School, while completing 12 of our own renovations and counting. The pure joy we see in the families we’ve worked with is always heart-fillingly inspiring.
